Mid 2004 the alpha release of NEOTOKYO came out as a mod for the UT 2004 engine. I got addicted to it instantly and founded a clan for this game with another guy: NTG – Neo Tokyo Gods. The clan grew quite fast and we had some serious fans from all over the world. There were only 2-3 servers to play on and we had a lot of fun back then. In 2005 the game should be ported to the Source engine (HL2) but was delayed quarterly.
By 2006 I lost track of the community due to work and other hobbies.
I checked their page once or twice per year since then but it seemed as Duke Nukem Forever will beat them to release. UNTIL NOW! I can’t believe it! Will this gorgeous game finally brought to release in 2009? Oh, I can feel it, baby!
Glad to read that Grey and pushBAK are still on the team. I’ll have to check out if former NTG members are still around. Cya soon.
